May 12 - Post Your Art so the World Can See it!
Greetings everyone,
You're first going to take a typing test to see if your typing speed and accuracy has improved. Then, you will post one of your "paintings" to our new flickr account, which IO and KO created. Once you have done both of those things, there are some other accounts to create. SR – add one more educational web site to del.icio.us/qsidushanbe before doing anything else.
Part 1
Feel free to practice typing if you want to, otherwise, go straight to the test. Please take the next 2 levels (or more if you want to). If your scores are higher, go go to Part 2. If your scores are the same or lower, practice typing for another 10 minutes.
Part 2
Pick a picture and post it! Remember that all images need to be small enough and in a format that can be seen on the internet. Also, make sure that only one person is posting an image at the same time. When you have finished posting, log out, or close flickr. Here are step-by-step directions:

- Find a painting you created using MS Paint. If you don’t already have one, create one.
- Using MS Picture Manager, resize your painting so that it's small enough to put up on the
internet (less than 100 KB. 50-60 KB is best). Ask me to check before uploading it. - Upload your artwork to flickr. If you have questions regarding how to log in, ask IO or KO.
- Be sure to include your initials as part of the title.
Things to do when you’ve finished:
Change the template of this blog
Go to http://www.blogger.com/ and login using the same information you use to log into our gmail email account. See if you can figure out how to change the template on your own. Ask me if you still have questions after you have explored a bit.
Create a new gmail account, that we will use to create a class blog. The user name should be qsiblog@gmail.com and the password: dushanbe
Create a class blog. Once the new gmail email account has been created, someone else needs to create your class blog. To do so, go to http://www.blogger.com/ and follow the directions.
